Drop everything and run

There are times when you just have to drop everything and run. The light is so overwhelming that you just have to go and photograph it. This was one of those times. I just managed to get high enough  before the light disappeared. I’m not always so fortunate.

Binsey is a little known hill at the top of the Lake District. Although it’s a “Wainwright”, the number of people who walk up it compared to Catbells, is tiny. Even though it’s only a couple of meters lower. However, it gives stunning views south towards Keswick and over the Solway to Dumfries and Galoway.
